Guides
Setup guides
Each guide covers the wiring and the setup in that platform's own software. The EG5 and EG12 put out 0 – 5 V, so they work with any ECU or data logger that reads a 0 – 5 V sensor. The CAN4 sends its readings in two CAN frames whose identifiers, bit rate and byte order are settings, so it can be set up for an ECU, dash or logger that reads a user-defined CAN frame of 8- or 16-bit values. It has not yet been run on an ECU.

CAN4 · analog-to-CAN module
- Link ECUG4X and G5, a Receive User Stream in PCLink. Written from Link's documentation, not yet run on an ECU
- Haltech NexusNot the Rebel. Generic CAN in NSP 1.48 or later. Written from Haltech's documentation, not yet run on an ECU
- Haltech Nexus Rebel, EliteNot supported: neither takes a user-defined CAN frame
What an ECU needs to read the CAN4: CAN, and what differs between ECUs. The CAN4's settings are made on its own setup page.
Full specifications, wiring and calibration for the EG5 and EG12 are in the datasheet (PDF); the CAN4's are on its own page.
